Photo courtesy of Alison Shafer. After we had finished all of our side projects, we took an overnight trip to an undeveloped and deserted beach called Bahia de Las Aguilas. There we cooked dinner together, played guitar around a beach bonfire, and talked with Dominican friends. We just spent one night there then went back to our temporary schoolhouse and started our major project, Shafer said.
