Voice Column Submission Form

This year, High Tide wants to hear and share the voice of a wider swath of the RUHS student population, beyond just our staff members. Every person at RUHS has a unique story only they can tell, and the goal is to provide a space for these stories. So, each issue we will have an opportunity for a student to write a personal essay for our voice column. The only true parameter is that the piece must be between 400–550 words, as it will be printed in the paper and therefore needs to fit within the column. If this is something you’re interested in, fill out this form with your contact information and a pitch of your story. This is only a single-issue commitment, but do remember that if you are selected, you will be responsible for your final story. Each issue, the selected writer will be contacted in advance so they can begin their story. We are looking forward to hearing your stories!
